Winterflower is a small farm located six miles up the beautiful Chetco River in the costal town of Brookings, Oregon. The weather here is fairly mild, averaging in the low 60's year round. Azaelas, Rhododendrons and many other flowers bloom twice a year here because of the mild climate. At the north end of town on coastal Highway 101 there is a sign that says it all:

We hope you enjoy visiting our website. We maintain a small herd  of quality horses from champion bloodlines, and average two or three foals a year, some of which are offered for sale. All of our miniatures are AMHA and AMHR registered.

AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgi Dogs
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a very intelligent companion animal. They are very people oriented and should not be left in a backyard only to be occasionally petted. They are at their best when incorporated into a full family life and are excellent with children!
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is the smallest of the herding group of dogs.  They stand 10-12 inches high and weigh 24-29 pounds. Colors are red/white, tri/white and sable/white. Although they are short, they think they are "big dogs".
They are energetic dogs, but are not hyperactive. A couple of brisk walks, or a run in the yard and a game of fetch takes care of their basic daily needs. One nice thing about a Corgi dog is in inclement weather you can exercise the dog indoors. Corgis are always anxious to please their owners, they love attention and can be real clowns! I can't imagine my day without them!

AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniels
We have added the charming Cavalier to our farm. The Cavalier's affectionate personality makes them the ultimate companion! Cavaliers stand 12 to 13 inches at the withers; weight, proportionate to height, between 13 and 18 lbs. The perfect lap dogs. We health test our breeding stock so you can be assured of a long lived, healthy puppy.
